Naturalist Tour to Manuel Antonio National Park

Please note that it is essential to purchase your entry ticket to Manuel Antonio National Park in advance, as it is one of the most visited parks in Costa Rica. Due to high demand, it is recommended to secure your ticket early to avoid any inconvenience.

Tickets can be purchased online. Prices for entrance are ₡1,808 CRC for adults and ₡565 CRC for children (ages 6–12) for Costa Rican citizens and residents, while non-residents pay $18.08 USD for adults and $5.65 USD for children (under 12). When purchasing tickets, you’ll need to provide your name and passport number. Early mornings are the best time to visit due to cooler weather, although afternoons after 1:00 PM are also good.

Please note, the park tickets allow only one entry. If you leave, you’ll need to purchase a new ticket to re-enter. Food is not allowed inside the park, but there is a café near the beaches where you can purchase snacks and drinks. Rain is common, so bringing rain gear is recommended. If you miss your scheduled entry time, you cannot enter later with the same ticket.

Please note that Manuel Antonio National Park does not have an official parking lot. If you plan to arrive in your own vehicle, you will need to use a nearby private parking facility. The cost for parking is approximately $10.

The park operates from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday through Monday, and is closed on Tuesdays, though it remains open on public holidays. The park is wheelchair accessible, but it’s important to note that wheelchairs are not provided, so please bring your own if necessary. Camping and overnight stays are not allowed in the park. Only certified service dogs are permitted, and you must present certification for your service dog.
